This is the third in my Little Long Pond series. Little Long Pond is one of the many inland ponds on Mt. Desert Island in Acadia National Park (not to be confused with Long Pond on the other side of the island). You can access it at one end from Rt. 3 in Seal Harbor. Carriage trails and hiking paths flank both sides of the pond. It’s tranquil and beautiful.
