Check out the images from this amazing exhibit posted on CNN’s website. The Vandenberg Project was the world’s only underwater photo gallery. Photographer Andreas Franke exhibited his work on a sunken ship for several months, where only divers could see it.

Franke’s photos are images of everyday scenes transposed against the backdrop of a the sunken ship, USNS General Hoyt S.Vandenberg (off the coast of Key West), which also served as his gallery.

His next project is also an underwater exhibit aboard the SS Stavronikita, another shipwreck, in Barbados. The images depic the flamboyant epoch of european style and cultural history. You can see images from that show here.
